Over the past two weeks, some callers have experienced a busy signal when attempting to call Colorado 811. Phone calls made to 811 are coming through our phone system, however some callers may still hear a busy signal on a limited basis. This is a problem our communications provider is having with all toll-free numbers. If you receive a busy signal, please try dialing 811 again as there is a high probability that you will get through on your next attempt. Alternately, you can use our online applications (iDig811 and Web Ticket Entry) to log your notification.
All Colorado 811 online services and networks are operational. This is strictly an unforeseen issue with our communications provider that is impacting more than Colorado 811 callers. We expect the issue of the occasional busy signal to disappear by the end of the day on July 9, 2020.
